Oral Sedation

A prescription sedative pill taken an hour before to put the patient in a sleepy state during treatment. This calming and relaxing option is recommended for patients with moderate dental anxiety as it generally leaves them with little recollection of the procedure.

Nitrous Oxide

“Laughing gas” that helps the patient feel euphoric and relaxed during treatment. Laughing gas is clear and odorless that leaves no aftereffects. This sedation option is ideal for patients with mild dental anxiety.

Local Anesthesia

This sedation is applied directly to the site undergoing treatment to help block pain. The numbing effect will spread to the gums, bone, and teeth. This options is commonly used in conjunction with other sedation options for a pain-free procedure.
